I would disagree with the above comments; my feelings are that the 'furniture' is part of this scene and it would lose the humour and irony if the road sign and the lines were removed! Surely these are the essence of this image? I would be interested to hear Ian's views on this?

Good point about the street furniture, although I quite like the signpost as it is part of the irony.
