Isambard Kingdom Brunel's bridge (the Royal Albert Bridge) over the Tamar.

Completed in 1859 and opened by Prince Albert on 2nd May. Brunel died later that year.

Was that taken from opposite Rose's Cafe ?

I took a similar shot some time ago but for the life of me I can't find it !

I just found my old shot taken from the Plymouth side in October 2014 and have posted it now

Peter the shot was from the Plymouth side, no cafe I noticed, a pub temporarily closed due to Covid nearby. Another pub further back along the access road was open. Your picture was taken on the Saltash, Cornwall side, an interesting street also with the bridge.

It was a long time ago that I was there and the 'little grey cells' need some activation these days !
