I've been trying out a special effect in CS4 this is it, do you think it is worth buying at $40?

Great effect, it gives the tiger a denomic look. The whiskers come up beautifully. Well worth the $40, unless the kids went hungry at Christmas because of it.

Special effect not to my taste, although some might like it!

Glow effect ok for some things but not for your Tiger photos, they are good enough with out the effect. With what you paid/cost of CS4 I would expect the effect to be included, and not to pay extra for..

I don't care for way/of/the/warrior's stuff it's too overdone for my taste. But your tiger, more restrained in its treatment, really appealed.
There's been a lot of tiger pix lately, this one stood out for me. Sorry Tracey and Terry, I like this one a lot.

Thanks David I'm still not sure if I should buy it because I don,t think I will use it very much and Terry was right it should have been in CS4.

I think this is extremely effective! It works particularly well on this image, the way you have done it. This is from someone who hates PS filters, so well done
I'm not sure I would buy the software tho' as I suspect people will get fed up with the effect eventually.

Try going the whole hog by pasting and reversing one side over the other for pure symmetry and artistic licence. (sometimes works, sometimes doesn't)
