I think you got a better angle on this than your Dad, nice and clean, allowing the robin to stand out well (no disrespect Cedric ).

Unfortunately it does highlight the shortcomings of your Tamron...

Hey, don't say that! Definately need to keep borrowing that lens for a bit. I took loads of pictures of the robins that day and there was a huge difference between those I took with my lens and the ones I took with Cedric's.
