My First Camera
by Crossed-up
The Kodak Junior II in the centre was my first camera, bought by my dad from a local second hand shop in the '70s, together with the Brownie Model D for my brother; an attempt to keep our sticky little hands off his prized S1a! The Bantam was aquired from a family friend in the '80s, but I never managed to find any 828 film to run through it.

A fine collection. I love old stuff.
Best wishes,

Simon, thank you so much for showing this!
I had a Kodak Junior II when was.... Well let's say, about 50years ago.
I dropped mine overboard on a canoeing holiday up the River Wey, from Kingston Upon Thames to Guildford. It was no more....
Your posting has brought many happy memories of my first camera!
Thanks again,
Roger.

Nobody mentioned the sympathetic (and effective) use of B+W.
This reminds me of the first ever photo that I took - with a Brownie - It was an absolute classic with a factory chimney sticking out of my friend's head.

Impressive to see that they appear to be in great condition which is more than I can say for some of my non-Pentax cameras! The Pentax collection can be seen here http://www.jaypix.net/the-pentax-collection.html
