Following on from suggestion to clone the cables, here's the cloned image with the cables cloned out.
For any soccer fans, the new stadium for World Cup 2010, can be seen under construction to the left of Capetown Harbour in an area called Green Point (to right of Signal Hill)(best viewed in full screen @100%).

Thanks all for your kind comments. It was a tedious task to clone out the cables for someone who is new to the world of post processing of images. I agree the picture is much better without those cables.
