John - colours and general compo look great, but the fisheye does this an injustice, I think. Maybe it's just me, but I always feel that a fisheye lens comes into effect in "claustrophobic" areas - I'm thinking downtown Manhattan sort of shots, where the photographer is enveloped by skyscrapers, being swept aside by a wash of yellow taxis, and a tidal-wave of humans.

Again - that's not to say I dislike the image... I just don't think (IMO) the fisheye works with this shot.

Thanks Steven, a rectilinear version would need to be very, very wide to take this actual shot, but you've got a fair point there.

That's what I like about photography, John - it's all a matter of personal taste. Some people might like this pic - some think it quirky. So long as the cameraman is happy with the image, that's all that matters.

The curved frontage is acceptable but the verticals spoil it for me.

Is there a tool in Photoshop to reduce spherical distortion?

That would give the best of boath worlds.
