Watendlath Tarn

Waited for 3 hours in the car park yesterday at Watendlath until the pouring rain stopped! After the rain, the colours glowed and although the sky was still cloudy, there was some definition there.
K-3, D-Xenon 12-24, Hitech ND Grad 0.9, Tripod

Love the echo of that hole in the clouds with the lake below. Adds splendid balance. Great shot and thanks for waiting those hours. Hope you had a flask and a few biccies at hand.
