Red Arrow Through 'The Loop'
One of two Red Arrows that showed up just before we were going to leave after what had been a poor day on the hillside. Saved the day.

We drove most of the way up the hill. Just an approx 300' climb to the very top which you can tackle in one steep go or take a longer meandering route which is easier on the joints and ticker. You don't even need to go to the top to get good shots...Many stop and setup their folding chairs part way up.

I know the loop very well!
It's me that can't get up the sides. I have limited mobility.... it gets really frustrating.

That lens should be ideal Simon...will cover everything likely to go through from small single engine prop trainers to large multi-engine transport aircraft. Nothing military likely at weekends and avoid friday afternoons but other than that best on nice weather days with good visibility. Will be harder to park during half term holidays unless there early...before 9am. (Cad West carpark)
