Everything about this says Raven to me.... especially the huge bill and the roundness of the tail.

You could well be right having just looked at some images online.

There were a pair of them as well which apparently is more characteristic of Raven than Crow.

We do have a lot of crows in the area and I just assumed it must be one...a bonus if it is a Raven.
