Characterful

There's a story behind this one! Yesterday whilst out for a walk in Castleton, Derbyshire we happened upon a little second hand shop in the back streets, called the 'Carlton Emporium'. The fellow in this picture owns the shop and he was sat outside with the lady (she was not his wife) and both had been on the tipple and were a little tipsy to say the least! I got talking to them and then went into the shop with some other customers. In the shop they serenade their customers, tell jokes and make people dress up in sailors costumes whilst acting out scenes from 'Titanic'. Why? Because they are eccentric and funny and they love people. The shop is more of a hobby for the gentleman than a business and he now has it up for sale. They were both fantastic characters. The shop is well worth a visit if you are around the Castleton area.
