Almost red coloured= DANGER. Venom of these kind of frogs is very dangerous. My thesis at university was about venom in Dendrobates Auratus and Minyobates Virolinensis. When these "nice guys" live in captivity they no longer produce their venoms! Strange but true and no one know reason why! Their venoms are much more dangerous and killer than those by snakes or spiders!....even could be used for bacteriological war (i.e. putting inside reservoirs of acqueducts)...It is an interesting field to study.....I hope that stupids never use for killing other peoples
