Fantastic

This is the sort of shot I am working towards - not there yet, but getting closer.

I hope to locate a area in the summer where the herons will be out in th eopen to try this kind of shot but for now I am stuck with heavily shaded river banks - no complaints or excuses though as I fell lucky enough to have local herons to point my lens at

K10D, K5 plus plenty of clueless enthusiasm.
