Government House and The Campanile
by PeterKR
Two of the buildings at Portmeirion, dating from 1927/28.
True to his policy of recycling, Clough Williams Ellis used some stones from a nearby demolished castle in the construction of the Bell Tower (The Campanile).

Many thanks, David.
However many times we go back to Portmeirion I always seem to find new angles or things not noticed before !
Thanks again
Peter
