Soaring majesty

Looking up in any Gothic cathedral gives you a magnificent view. This pile of stone supports the central tower of Lichfield cathedral

One of the few Englsh cathedrals I've yet to see. This certainly whets my appetite.
Best wishes,

I thoroughly recommend a visit to Lichfield (town and cathedral). It is steeped in goodies. The cathedral is not a dead pile of stone either - they use it for all manner of events.
And thanks for all the kind words.
