Taken with the K-r and 18-55 kit lens shortly after I got the camera.
Only now dveloped the RAW file using PDCU4.
Before I got the hang of this I'd been a bit disappointed with th jpegs but now I think the lens is not bad after all !

Hi Colin, glad you like it. We retired engineers obviously have similar outlooks on life !
It was taken at 'The Gnome Reserve' in Devon where there are several thousand gnomes 'living' amongst the trees in a wooded garden.

As for the lens, they were not in a position to disagree. They thought that their new table was 'Amanita Muscaria', the 'Fly Agaric', so they were not going to eat that, RAW or cooked!
