Scarlet Door
by hocusfocus
This neon sign wraps around the 90-degree corner of the building, but is perfectly readable when standing directly facing the corner edge. Damn clever, in my opinion, because the sign maker had to make perspective adjustments to cause the sign to read normally from that corner. Akin to the Trajan column, whose letters are enlarged as you go higher, in order to compensate for the loss of size as distance increases. Of course, as you walk closer to the Scarlet Door corner, the readability decreases.
