Fuchsia with bee

by lensman2014

Out walking in Nottingham one Sunday morning, I was using my K10D with an 18-55mm kit lens after having photographed some church exteriors.
Glorious sunshine brought out the colours of this flower which, as luck would have it, was visited by a bee in search of nectar.

Not having an actual macro lens, I used the close focussing of the wide end of the lens to get reasonably close in to the subject.

I don't know why that has come out like that (landscape mode) as I have corrected it's orientation prior to adding the watermark.

One perhaps unseen accomplishment of the image is that it works from any compass point viewed. Nicely done and produced - tg
