Mornin' bezbur. Mine was taken for the same reason.
Although I've photographing for many many years I was getting lazy and decided to do these PP photos as a challenge to myself to waken myself up.

Mixed fruit always looks so nice and colourful. It's well lit and exposed. IMO it's good to get in close on these shots. You could lose a little of the fruit bowl bottom and fill the frame from left to right with fruit.
