My first trip up to the Elan Valley it was so peaceful just sat there watching the sunrise at Caban Coch Reservoir, before moving on up the valley to Craig Goch Dam such a beautiful place and well worth the 4.30am

Well done for getting up early! as you said well worth it.All the pictures I took here have dull grey skies.

Lovely shot, I love the light on the brickwork, the sky, in act all of it! It does need a little straightening though..

The reflection of the clouds on the water is really beautiful. It makes more interesting this picture. But it's pity we cannot view this shot in enlarged.
