Nicely framed but needed a much longer shutter speed to get the silky water effect. Thats just my opinion though and others might feel it looks better as it is.

Thanks for the feedback. I also took a longer exposure at the time but was less happy with the outcome. I was trying to capture the clean & crisp feel of the cold yet sunny day. I'm still learning

Did you have a tripod with the long exposure? If not it wont work as the scene has to be the same for the length of the exposure and any slight movemement will show up.

I wasn't carrying my tripod for the long exposure which is most likely why I wasn't happt with the result. But I couldn't miss the chance to get this shot in any case. Maybe I'll go back sometime & try it again with a tripod.
