one of the first photos I've taken on my first SLR. Any comments or suggestions appreciated! I really should have spent today doing an essay rather than taking photos!

Thanks Tracey, yea I'm going to start learning all about photoshop soon. 'highlights' - is that parts of the picture that are too bright, would they be termed overexposed?

Like the photogragh. If you know how to use photoshop you need to take some of the highlights out. Also needs to be just a tad sharper. Not bad for first attempt.
