Cardinal sin, never charged the battery for the K3, so took the Kr on a trip down to the quayside at Kings Lynn while the wife went and had her eyes tested.

Coincidentally, I put some AAs in my old *istDS this morning due to a flat battery in the K5 !
I got just as good results from it as you clearly did from your Kr

That's another reason I bought the K50 as an upgrade from my Kr - same battery and I always have the AA holders to fall back on as well !
At least it gave you the chance to remember what a good camera the Kr still is !
