I have inverted the image as this is actually a reflection in The Chinese Lake at Portmeirion.
But it is all part of the magic that is Portmeirion.

A fantastic reflection - before I read your explanation, I had started to wonder what the 'flecks' were about!

I was struck by the extent of this reflection in the lake, which I saw from the far side where I took this shot. That's why I needed to invert it to get the tree upright.
The presence of the 'flecks' then prompted my title.
