Nimrod Replacement?

by 1stEverPentax

This is the brand new Japanese designed and built Kawasaki P1 Anti-Submarine and Maritime Reconnaissance aircraft, one of two the Japanese sent to Fairford in the hope of securing an order from the RAF. It's also the first mass produced
aircraft in the world to use 'Fly By Light' flying controls. Personally I hope this country does buy at least a dozen or so as at the moment we have to rely on other NATO allies to take over what were previously UK responsibilities .

Interesting plane. The 787 Dreamliner also has fibre optics throughout the systems.

Too many engines, although the crew would probably shut down two when loitering!
