Stained Sky

Thanks to Gabor for noticing a faint blotch in the (top right) sky on my "Resting at Rowsley" pic. That was taken at f5.6 with my 50mm lens.

This is the next shot where I had changed to my 16-45 which had accidentally slipped to f19.

Clearly the artefact was independent of lens so presumably on the sensor. It looks like a small hair which eventually was shaken off.

Time to get that rocket blower out or maybe the vacuum cleaner at a suitable safe distance.
