Sophie at John Rylands

I took my second-eldest Granddaughter Sophie out for the day in Manchester. I was surprised at how interested she was in all sorts of things that a 9-year-old might not have been. So we visited the Gothic John Rylands Library, the ancient St Ann's Church and the magnificent Royal Exchange. Here she is trying on hats at the John Rylands Library. Later we also did MacDonalds, which I understand is some sort of restaurant.......
