When time runs out .....

by davidwozhere

This was prompted by the realization that the scrap silver parts had been sitting on that flyer for weeks without me seeing the connection. It simply needed a bit of rearrangement into a presentable still life (death?). Please do contemplate the contents - there are even two useless silver coins inside the watch case, as well as clasps and fittings that no longer connect to anything. And can that key rewind the time that has passed by?

On a completely different theme, the lens is a 1930s Schneider Radionar 105mm. These can produce the most incredible enlargements - view it 'large' - it won't be large enough! This has to be one of the most effective consumer lenses ever produced (not necessarily the most successful, but .... ).

I read the top lines of the flyer and thought what the hell is David promoting here!? It's a lovely shot and makes me think that a Schneider lens would be a great addition to the collection!
