Fantastic shot Rob...the snowy background really makes it stand out even better than usual. Was this taken recently?

Nice shot, but more technical data? Viewpoint, distance, lens... Difficult to figure out...

Thanks Gent's for the kind comments.
Shot taken recently (20/01/2016).
Camera equipment and settings:
K3ii with the DFA 150-450MM
Shutter priority@ 1/1250th
Matrix metering.
Focal length I think was around the 300mm mark.
Location is in mid Wales where Raf And Usaf carry out some low level training.
It's not all glory though as Passes can be very random and scarce.
Anyone wishing to visit would be best going expecting nothing and anything else is a bonus.
I'm quite lucky to live here and be able to pop up as and when I like.

A remarkably good shot.
Best wishes,

A wonder you didn't fall over panning that fast! Another nice one Rob.
