I live in Ipswich, Suffolk. On the 14th Sept.i heard and saw two F.15 Eagles fly directly over my house, I assume these were the same Eagles returning to Lakenheath. Terrific aircraft.

It's possible Ken although they have quite a few based at Lakenheath and I believe they were out in force on wednesday!

Apparently the USAF is looking to upgrade some of them and keep them in service beyond 2030 !
