Dunes - Namibia

I imagine this compo treted as a normal picture...It is a ggod subject riche of tones and shapes. Why toadd that "strange" unnatural effect? Sorry for my comment

I've never seen the point of simple impersonal photographic presentation or representation. Feel it's too easy to just paste in what the camera has recorded — even if there has been some work on the settings. Too much like straight National Geographic reporting (invariably excellent in itself, but…). Personally, have no patience with camera setting, and mostly use AUTO, but like to dabble with software. Like trying to make the photo into a picture, a bit different, personalise, add something (for better or for worse), raise questions, provoke comments, create an effect, catch the eye (all that if, of course, possible), etc. May all sound pretentious, but it's more fun. Thanks for your comment. Don't be sorry. At least the picture didn't leave you totally indifferent, which, in itself, is gratifying. Cheers.
