Dove

by Crossed-up

A change from motor sport, and one of the first shots I took with the K3 and DA*50-135. Shot during last year's .eu forum trip to Tintern Abbey.

V. good 1st image with K3 - or any camera. Delicate bird and intricate brickwork meld nicely into the sylvan background. Well seen and captured - Top shelf -- Tg

The bird is tiny in the frame but so dominant because of it's brilliant whiteness. It's an engaging and sophisticated photograph.

Good shot, but IMO could be really good if you cropped off the wall at its corner, leaving one side, dove and background. Then perhaps a little off the bottom too, restoring the original rectangle.

An unusual and striking shot. There is no shot without the bird.
Best wishes,
