Hard choice for me choosing between the two...I like attributes about both of them.
In general though, I like the subject and comp. It looks like a giant kite or fly. I also see an hour glass shape formed with the shadow. Nice perspective.

Lines, light and lamp posts. Excellent use of light.

I like this shot it is clean, unobstructed view, with great perspective. Almost graphical. Perfect angle of view.

both images are stand alone fine but the mono version has a eeriness that i tend to like better - nice effort - t
