Lunchtime on the rose bush

The catterpillar of the Marbled Carpet moth is one of those that walks by a series of loops. Otherwise it sits rigid, only moving its jaws slowly along the leaf. Its camouflage is perfect. Various companions are sharing the new leaves as well.
