This a shot taken last evening in the dell where a guy was fishing for the trout in the stream
Cropped and converted to B&W in Photoshop and the red jacket picked out

Lovely, but i will be honest, the selective colouring ruins it for me

Id love to see it without... I realise why you have chosen to do it, as the guy fishing is so small in the frame..

+1 to above comments, i think because it is red our eyes go straight to it and bypass the exploring of the scene which when you do is great

Thanks for the comments which are appreciated.
This shot was an experiment to see if I could capture the water and then having the red guy there whether I could do the B&W conversion with him standing out.
Both achieved but have to agree with comments.
I'll post the B&W without the RED shortly.
I'm not really a fan of milky water anyway.

Works for me too, although I do feel that the square format and the focal length of 10mm cancel each other out somewhat!
