Green Mountains
by AxelLuther
A shot for which I had to carry 5 kg equipment onto Germanys’ highest mountain. 800 below the summit, we were trapped in bad weather but then suddenly, the clouds opened and allowed the low standing evening sun to shine a spot of light on a smaller neighbor mountain. The air was crystal clear and the sunlight turned the scenery into this unreal light setting. In addition some effort during shooting and after shooting was necessary to get the photo as close to the real scenario as possible.
The nice thing is – this picture was my second picture that made it into the premium collection of the PPG.

Astonishing. Makes me pine for the Alps. May be one of the best pictures in our Gallery.
Best wishes,
Andrew
