"Boring — no cranes!" wrote 'pauljay' of a previous posting. He finds photos without cranes boring?! This really exciting take should please him immensely, offering — at a single viewing — not one crane, but TWO!

technically there are three cranes or do my eyes deceive me? and in the distance on the wharf INSANE IN THE CRANE!!!!!!

Actually, as far as my eye can see.... CRANES ! The city of Nantes, which happens to have the lowest population density of the top ten leading French cities, is trying to densify and become an "interesting" city. It has known the biggest growth of the larger towns in the last thirty odd years. A lot going for it and with a relatively low profile. Cranes love it !
