Andrew , i built a 1966 Tiger 100ss from a box of bits , that i now regret selling , it looked like a smaller version of this , that was before houses and kids intervened mind you ! it looked fantastic in Sherbourne green and Alaskan White but the vibration used to rattle my teeth . Heres hoping you do eventually get one. By the way the attention to detail on this is incredible, regards, Tim.

Memories. That looks like a Tiger 110 or a Bonneville 120 Circa early 60's. Unit construction gearbox. Iron barrel Alloy head. The air filter is all wrong it should be concealed. Now to make Andrew jealous. I owned a 1954 Tiger 100. 1956 Tiger 100, and a Thunderbird 1958/9 650. That was the year they changed from an SU type carb to a Monobloc. Also it had the slick shift gearbox which meant once you where into 1st. gear you didn't have to use the clutch. The gear pedal pushed the clutch out , changed the gear then let the clutch back in again. I loved my Triumphs but as Tim says that was before houses and kids. I still ride my little 250 Honda when the sun shines but it's not quite the same as being a 16/21 year old without a care in the world. As I said at the start "MEMORIES"
CHEERS Vic.

Born again biker with lots of Pentax bits. Every day I wake up is a good day. I'm so old I don't even buy green bananas.
