A good place to look from.

Vey nice!

Did you use a graduated filter to darken the sky/clouds?

Could that be Ledbury Church spire poking into view at the RHS edge?

Best regards
Mike

Thanks Mike, No physical grad filter - the latitude in the GRIII raw files allows for fairly good PP with digital graduated filters The "spire" at he right hand side is actually the obelisk at Eastnor approx. 5 miles from Ledbury

Wow, no filter required! That's a great testament to the GRIII's performance!

Thanks for the identification of the 'spire'.

Best regards
Mike

Sorry I may have mislead you Mike - I added a graduated filter in post processing (LightRoom), I find that underexposing by approx. -0.7 allows for detail to be brought out of shadows while holding detail in the sky which you can then enhance with a digital grad effect

Told you I wasn't going there - you don't come out the same as you went in
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
