AH, the Turkish 'Andrew' strikes again!

I s'pose you will be buying derelict old lense soon Nezih?

Actually, I quite like it. Why do we get drawn to these old wrecks?
It surely must say something about us?
Best Regards, Larry.

All the gear & no idea.

Good subject, but the light is a bit too flat. Needs some early/late sunlight slanting across. Convert to black and white ??

Well, you're both right. I also start seeing myself following Andrew's heels sometimes, but I like that, it suits me. My bits are not as subtle as his, though. Of course, it does reveal our yearning for the past, but the irony is that we are using new fangled devices to reveal it, don't we?

Yes, Brian, it was taken in a very narrow street after sunset, but it does not seem to be so. It's the Aegean light in this time of the year. I did convert it, and I liked the result.

Thank you both for much appreciated comments!

Nezih

That's a terrific find, Nezih. Now try a tight crop which uses just the bottom four window lights.

Actually I think you overtook me some time ago, Nezih. I'm now known as the English Nezih! You have the advantage as well: you live in Turkey where there are clearly masses of brilliant subjects!
Best wishes,

Andrew

Thank you for the sweet words Andrew! You're so humble and generous; I take them as comliments.

I'll try it now and see what happens, but I can already guess the result, it's surely going be fine.

*I did it and found the result to be so good, but is so small. I must have cropped the original before uploading it. Another result: I am still learning from you!

O.K., but remove the bit of paper and the bottle ??

Brian, this is my excuse: "I did it and found the result to be so good, but is so small. I must have cropped the original before uploading it." Besides, I neither have photoshop program, nor like using it. Sorry!

All the same, thank you for your concern and making me aware of other possibilities; I believe that's the way one improves his work.
Regards,
Nezih
