Yes it works, for me at any rate. I am not to keen on the black and white rectangles being misaligned but perhaps that was your intention? If it was perhaps you could explain your reasoning?

Many thanks for your comments Bob.The B.& W. retangles appear to be mis alined because there is a very fine white boder round the black rectangles and of course they don't show up against the white back ground.
