Good depth of field. These gear wheels are reminiscent of those now distant Mecano days, somehow, even the cheese head screws suggest that sort of size. Once bitten by the close-up bug you will never be free of it, you will always want to get closer!
All five minute jobs take a minimum of eight hours!

I've been rumbled! All of the cogs were contained in a tiny tin from, probably the 1920s. It belonged to my late father-in-law. You're right, I'm forever prowling the house and garage looking for stuff to close-in on!
f22 and a very cheap infrared (?) device from e-bay to trigger the shutter.
