Highcliffe Castle

Highcliffe Castle, situated on the cliffs at Highcliffe, Dorset, was built between 1831 and 1835 by Charles Stuart, 1st Baron Stuart de Rothesay in a Gothic Revival style on the site of High Cliff house.

Thank you guys for your comments. You really should drop in alfpics, the gardens and reserve that run off the back of it are really peaceful. Are you from Dorset then?

No - we just get to stay in Southbourne occasionally and have often driven along the Lymington Road. Maybe next time we're down that way...
