The home of the storytellers - which version
by AxelLuther
Went to the documenta13 in Kassel with my kids..... A massive art attack and we had some more silent moments in the house of the brothers Grimm (which was partly used for documenta exhibitions as well)... tired to give this picture the fairy tale look..... please compare it with the color version and tell me which you like more - I prefer slightly the B&W but I am not 100%

I prefer this one. It has an air of mystery which suits the look of wonderment on your daughters face.
Best Regards, Larry.

I'm with Larry on this one!! The colours in the other pic do not "stand out" in the same way as darker (or brighter, such as a vermillion / purple, or similar) colours would, so in a way it's as well to have been shot in b/w. That said, the colours do draw the eye towards the subject - just not as dramatically as aforementioned darker colours would.

Mono is much better in my opinion.
The orange shorts(?) and leg are much too distracting in the colour one.

Both nice but the mono shot is more pleasing, Axel, in my opinion.
Best wishes,

I totally agree with Steve.

For this to "work", the eye should be drawn to her face.
This is what happens in the B&W. The colours distract in the other version.
IMHO of course.
This is a very well composed shot.

I like the both version but I like this one more. The nice conversion made it stronger IMHO.
