Very nice again, I'm not sure if I like this one or the black and white one best.

Personally I like the B&W better.
I must honestly say that colour version bears a lot of feeling. I should prefer BW if enriched with more contrast and pulling out dark & light.I do not mean that your conversion is a bad one BUT you've been to much honest to convert colour into BW bearing the same "flat"tones. This is good for colour (colours give richness to a capture)but converting into BW you ought to add your personal vision ot that moment. Sorry for my comment: IMHO you've been to much SCIENTIFIC. Forget Science and put your personal vision of this world when managing BW. I hope you don't offend reading my words and I look forward to receive your feed back. Don't hesitate to be cruel with me!!!
Thanks.

You are too kind and too much of a gentleman Giulio - why would I be offended by what you have said? There is nothing in your statement that I would find offensive.
As for the B&W conversion, actually I am opposite to what you think regarding being too scientific. I am none of that and simple depend on my gut instinct to decide whether I like a photo or not. I kept the shot quite flat because I wanted to reflect what it actually looked liked when I saw it - it was very dull and looked very flat at dusk. I wouldn't mind cranking up the contrast to see what it looks like though, so watch this space!
