Anniversary Carnations

We went to a 40th Wedding Anniversary Party Dance and I brought home a few of the table decoration carnations and serviette, for still life experimentation. I had trouble with unwanted, unexpected, images reflected off the compound curvature of the shiny silver vase surface and eventually draped a light blue bath towel between the tripod stem and the horizontal work surface supporting the subject. Used a desk lamp for illumination from above which perhaps should have been from in front and above!
