Thorpe Salvin church Infra-Red

This ancient church sits in an equally ancient village on the border of Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire. Parts of the church date to Anglo-Saxon times, including a timbered porch (not visible in this photo) and an ancient stone cross which survives in the churchyard. The name of the village derives from Norse, loosely meaning an outlying settlement.

I'm not a bit fan of IR but in this instance it really works, a lovely picture. Well done David.
