Have you just got a new pair of glasses Andrew because you seem to be seeing things in a whole new light the past few weeks! Simple, but effective - I love it.

Very good DOF and I love the sky. Just shows how far out the tide goes in some places. I live in Cyprus and the tides here are about 1 to 1.5 feet at most !

Good shot.

At first sight in thumbnail I thought that it is a plastic container of a Kinder Surprise.
Nice shot Andrew, I like its colours and the shapes of the clouds.

Thanks everyone. This was a bonus shot as I'd set out to photograph the remains of the wreck I posted earlier.

No polariser, Larry. A bit of a contrast boost in Photoshop.

Brian, this part of the Bristol Channel has the second highest tidal range in the world. I guess I'm used to it, but it takes visitors by surprise. At low tide, the sea isn't visible!
Best wishes,

Andrew

Andrew,as you say, this is really surprising to me! I have only seen the effects of the low tide from films and photos; as Brian puts it, we simply don't feel it here. You're so good at choosing the right angle that works so well, as is the case here, in creating a very pleasing compo.
