Steam Elephant at Beamish
by davidtrout
Beamish Museum's modern replica of an early 19th century pioneering steam locomotive 'Steam Elephant' being prepared for a day's work on the Pockerley Tramway. The original probably hauled trucks from collieries down to ships in the River Tyne. This loco pulls early 19th century coal rucks giving rides to visitors at the museum.

It had me fooled, thinking your work went back a lot further than I had thought. Excellent image, makes me want to go and see it for myself.
