I agree. AND very tasty if it is what I think it is. It looks very like Chicken of the woods.
It grows on my 200yr old? yew tree in my garden every 2/3 years and also on 2/3 trees near the river Ise in Kettering. Next time you see it take someone who knows their fungi and if it is Chicken of the woods then you are in for a treat.

Thanks guys - and thanks for the info Vic. Always wary of fungi in the wild; however will look further into it!
